Well, here are the numbers for this week. We're back down to more reasonable ones after the messes of the past two weeks.
Lockouts
30 days
Scripting - 1
60 days
Scripting - 2
Warnings
Scripting - 8
Game Disruption - 1
Next week's blotter won't be released until Monday the 27th as I'm off the 24th, the Friday after gorging on the bird. Actually, I probably will sleep through the entire day, for further reference on how I treat Thanksgiving, see Bill Amend's Foxtrot comic strip.

Solomon had posted the definition of what is game disruption earlier in this folder.
____________
Game Disruption can be any significant disruption to the game.
Interfering with GM Events, Abuse of REPORT or ASSIST, causing a ruckus, shenanigans, grabassery, larking about, etc.
Its really a catch-all category for "general troublemaking".

<<If not what exactly is the definition of "game disruption"?>>
Game Disruption is sort of the catch all spot. Scrolling is one form, doing things that could classify in one of the other areas, but to a massive extreme (Fire rain at the North East Gate for example) is another, and doing things that are causing huge problems (Attacking a non-combat NPC, like the Baron in an event, getting tossed out of the event, coming back and doing it again) are the sorts of thing that land under Game Disruption. This is by no means an all inclusive list, just a few examples. It's what it gets called when something is obviously outside the lines, but it's fuzzy as where it should land.

<<I think it's the coming back and doing it again, or perhaps even again and again, that lands it in the disruption part. After being told to leave/desist/etc...>>
Bingo. The reason I used the example of the Baron is that for most of the things that he's going to show up for, they aren't combat. They're an announcement, an event, a thing, not a fight (even though he's quite capable of protecting himself).

What better a time to attempt to attack a ruler than when he is sitting around and enjoying himself, completely unsuspecting and relatively unarmed and defenseless?
I really hope the recent thread about reasonable reactions comes up with a better response to dissident roleplay than "throw them in a lockout cell with a warning for disruption."

I can say from my years back here, warnings and lockouts are the absolute last resort in those situations.

I will second that and say that the Events GMs in general use a very light touch in handing out consequences, even IC consequences. You REALLY have to work to get deportation, let alone a warning.

Bye the by Ragran's player... I got married for the first (and only) time 6 years older then you are now and have two boys, 5 & 6. And no I wasn't ready at either event but I let life happen and here I am. Heaven knows I'm a lot better father (and the kids are happier) for my waiting. Just saying you never know...
