I said use your imagination. Humiliate them in character. RP something based on their naive response or blatant OOC behavior. Like when someone said rollback, you would respond, "what is rollback, is that what your mother does with her skirt every time she sees a drunken pirate?" Something like that. Something to maybe just urge them to see their own error. I probably am part of the problem though. I usually am.

Many people, get a juvenile kick outa doing something they know is wrong, and getting a reaction to it; but at the same time, not getting in "trouble" for doing it.

I find it better, to ignore blatant ooc such as that stuff, publically, and call attention to GMs over it.

If that person is directly being interacted with by MY character, then I'll simply OOC them to stop, and if they don't I'll tell a GM...

I mean, there are many kinds of people, I don't want to indulge any of them into being OOC any more than normal; and GMs <can> classify repeated public OOC-ness, as "Game Disruption", a friend has gotten a warning under that guise in the past for this (or so he claimed anyway).
