I did have a question about slots progression... Magic tert guilds as I understand get 1 ever 2 circles until 100 then 1 every 3 after. We are Magic Tert so why do we get 1 ever 2 cirles up ta 70 and then only every 4 after? Is it just because we don't have as many abilities? When weapon feats come out this will matter even more.
Also I want to vote towards medi power being a freebie like medi flame as well. Most all guilds have some way to see what buffs they have cast, how much mana they have in detail etc. And why shouldn't it teach as well? Using PER or PER health teaches other guilds when sensing mana and spells etc or used too. But even if it didn't teach I could live with that but having to pay for it does seem wrong.

>>meditations flame and power for free
Meditation Flame IS free. If you want to freely check your power level go be a mage or something.
Simply put, Inner fire is not magic. It doesn't work like magic. Understanding it and manipulating it takes far more effort than magic, which is why only 1 Guild can interact with it and they do so at a tertiary rate, and is why many of the abilities cost slots.

We had some staff changes and the number of slots was miscommunicated to me. I spent about 2 months designing a system around the current number of slots you get, and to change it would upset the whole balance. The only way we could increase the number of slots would be to likewise increase ability costs which I am not fond of.

So does that mean we have different rules for ability costs compared to spells?
