In 2.0 if you instructed anyone in any of the "horse" skills <ride, combat, etc>, you would gain Teaching experience after your instruction were over.


In 3.0, I did not gain any scholarship <since teaching and scholarship combined> experience after teaching the RIDE class <trader>.

I don't have a ranger available to test if you gain teaching by instructing a horse, my instruction was to another PC.
