I think it is more the principle of the matter, not the consequences, that concern the original poster.

Who wants a blemish on their record if they genuinely did not deserve it? Who meaning anyone, not just the original poster. Logically if someone gets in trouble for something they do not feel they were at fault at, they want to fix the matter. Hence he posted, and hopefully he will take others suggestions and send a letter to Feedback to try to work with them to remedy the situation to the satisfaction of all parties.
