But this would be grossly unfair to me, since my computer migh still be sending commands for several seconds before it manages to terminate the StormFront when my computer is spontaneously shutting down.

Although recently, I've been more worried about my computer spontaneously booting up from a shut down state. It makes me think it might have a mind of its own.
