I was wondering what the protocol was regarding GM SENDs. Today, for example, I got a SEND regarding a bug that had been fixed. I really only wanted to say 'Thank you!' but I was leery of using REPORT, because I'm not sure if that is what we are supposed to do. So I didn't do anything, which kind of left me feeling like an ungrateful turd.
Is it appropriate to answer a SEND with a REPORT?

It absolutely is! Replying to a GM's SEND is one of the only non-emergency reasons to use REPORT. Usually if we SEND you about something that we need a response on, we try to make sure to let you know that it's okay to REPORT to respond, but if you're in a situation where you get an informational SEND, you can still REPORT if you want to respond to what we've said.
