Heres one for you...

how bout getting killed in an invasion, dropping your sword, bring your larger (50+) character out to drag and get your weapon, LO AND BEHOLD! He doesnt have enough DISCIPLINE to PICK up your sword and is put into a 30 seocnd RT. Creature comes in, whacks the new character. you both get drug off, depart, come back 5 mins later to get your weapon, and ITS GONE never to return again!

IF a 50th circle character cant pick up a weapon from a deader.. WHO CAN?

Was that theoretical or it actually happened? I've never had trouble picking up ANYone's weapons, even prior to being 50th. Also, it wouldn't depend on their circle but their discipline -- how much discipline does that 50th level person have? I know a 60 plus character who trains some stats very very high, but only has like 8 in others (Don't ask.. basically he's a walking brick agility wise).

I`m not sure if this was the same case as mine, but a friend died out the west gate with Naarg troops attacking, apparently some critter dropped a huge sword and I was trying to get my friends sword not knowing the huge swords were there, hence the message that it was too heavy to pick up and rt to boot.

Any chance that item the 50+ tried to pick up was bonded?
That's about the only way grave robbing effects would kick in like that, that I can think of, short of no discipline in the character

Nodwick: "Okay... this is ominous."
Yeagar:"If "ominous" means something that makes you "*need to change your shorts*", then I've learned a new word."
(Moments later) I think I just "ominoused" myself.

the bonded items give a NASTY RT to whoever is tryin to pick them up or used to. I disagree with the RT since the item goes back to its owners hand but it has killed me a couple of times when i was trying to help out.
