I have been Premium for a year. I have a character that owns a home. I logged in with a second character and found a home I liked. I tried to claim it and got the message "You are not eligible to claim that. That character paid the 30000 to the clerk first. What gives?
<<I'm guessing class or race restriction for the home you are trying to buy doesn't match the character trying to do the buying.
Good idea. I think the correct verb is HOME LOOK to see if this is the problem.
I was wondering if the issue was with that particular home or letting the character get any home.

It was expanded in 2009 to 1 home per character.

Yes, HOME LOOK is a helpful thing. There are several areas that are restricted by race and/or profession.
And you can have homes all over the place!
Then you can buy that insane furniture in the simucoin store and store so many things in your house...
Just.. if you ever have to HOME RECLAIM, you'll be in the junkyard instantly so.. don't really do that!
