Apologies if this is the wrong folder.

Several months ago there was a Premie contest to design statues and the like. The winners got copies of their items. I'm curious as to whether it would ever be possible for these statue-like items (mine is a glass column thing on a marble plinth) to stand on their own in the home.

At the moment, my column is :cough: sitting on top of the closet in my apartment. I think it'd be a great additional 'slot' for homes to have large pieces of art or sculpture. Any thoughts on this being implemented/tweaked? I use my home very, very regularly and would love for this to be put in. I'm sure there would be a nice market for it, especially if 'statue' alterers came around e'er so often.

Hey I looked at some art in the past and described it as such. Yet I find it quite funny to hear a artist talk about there own work as "a glass column thing on a marble plinth". Thanks for the laugh... Now I am wondering just how hard is it to win a contest.

ponders subbmitting "A blob on a stick" Woot 3rd place for me!

Har :P I was being lazy. It's:

a frosted glass column encasing a multitude of delicate red feathers (look) Six hands high and one wide, the column appears to be perfectly cylindrical and smooth to the touch. Dozens of diminutive feathers, ranging in color from the palest of pinks to an intense blood red, are forever trapped beneath the gleaming surface. The feathers are arranged in a lazy spiraling pattern, which begins at the cloudy frosted base of the column and continues upward through the progressively clear glass. A faint inscription encircles the white marble plinth supporting the sculpture. (read) "Alamhif's Bridge -- by Xailan WynterShae."

I'm sorta still hoping to see our statues planted in various public areas of Elanthia.

perhaps at the center of some town/city square in prominent position next to a pretty fountain. :)
