I felt like sharing my interior. Now that I look at it, I think I'm going to want to rearrange it so that less stuff appears in the "You also see a...", but oh well. The stands have armor and a sword on them but I didn't feel like including them, since they're not actual pieces of furniture.

A mazelike dark blue rug woven with a dizzying asymmetrical design adorns the snowflake obsidian floor of this room. An elaborately carved marble fireplace rests between a mahogany four-poster bed and an elegant black lacquered desk pushed up against the cream-colored marble walls. The room holds a lingering scent of candles. You also see a high arched frosted glass window, an onyx-inlaid ironwood door, a sapphire-blue plush velvet armchair, a tall carved walnut armor stand, an elaborate walnut weapon rack, an elegantly-carved ash closet and a pure-white Jeol ferret.

Very nicely done. I always like to see good interior design at work. I might post my current home when I get a minute.

Very nice, and that reminds me. Can we get windows in apartments? I live in the crystal wave inn.

Yes, but they look into the hallway.

The salesgirl gives you a funny look. "This lirum is worth more than 15 lirums!"

Here's my third home, I just need to add a window:

[Xoine's Home]
Walls of glass diamond tile and a black-veined white marble floor covered by a thick rug of iridescent black silk dyed with a crosshatching of silver enclose this room. In one corner lies a black silk feather bed, and near the bed sits a frosted glass table. A white pillared marble fireplace burns along the far wall, above it hanging a platinum gilt mirror with tiny etched roses. The room holds a mild scent of potpourri. You also see an imposing white platinum throne, a hand-carved pale ash armor stand, an ornate white ash weapon rack, an ivory hope chest and a boldly black-striped skunk.
Obvious exits: none

>look wall
Beautifully cut frosted glass tiles are set in a diamond pattern in clean white mortar.

>look rug
The black dye used on this rug was treated with a special polishing agent, giving it an irregular shine that adds to the pattern of silver crosshatching lines.

>look on bed
On the feather bed you see a tasteful black velvet cushion edged with a black silk ribbon.

>look under bed
Under the feather bed you see a pair of silvery crushed velvet house slippers with a black silk fringe circling the ankle.

>look on table
On the glass table you see a glass sphere and a stack of scholar's handbooks.

>look sphere
The greenish mist within the sphere swirls in abstract patterns, then coalesces in the form of a butterfly resting on a twig before shattering into wispy tendrils.

>look handbooks
The handbooks are stacked in precariously tall fashion and have titles such as, "The History of the Common Language and Why Everyone Knows It," "Everything about the Prince's Family You Wanted to Know But Were Afraid to Ask," and "Ode to Fluffy, a Book of Poetry, Volume I."

>look chest
A chain of roses has been carved into the top of this ornate ivory chest, its thorny vine loosely tied into a love knot as ivory blossoms burst from every direction over the length of the vine.

>look in chest
In the hope chest you see a white rose dream pillow, a soft white woolen blanket with a small wreath of roses embroidered on each corner and a snarling Empath doll.

>look pillow
Made from soft white linen stuffed with goose feathers and dried flower petals, the pillow has been embroidered with a wreath of white roses. The same blossoms within the pillow give it a cool, sweet fragrance.

>look blanket
Extremely soft to the touch, this large blanket offers comfort and warmth.

>look doll
Oddly enough, the doll bears a remarkable resemblance to... you!

>look skunk
A boldly black-striped skunk's body structure resembles a wedge. The narrow, sometimes pointed, nose broadens at the ears, forming a small wedge. His body is narrow at the shoulders and grows broader at the hips, forming a larger wedge. The tail accounts for one third of the animal's entire length. It is a magnificent brush rivaling only the thick bushy plume sported by a fox. The black-striped skunk carries this magnificent tail slightly aloft.

The skunk's name is Fluffy.

Doh! I wish I could have gotten that place down the hall. There's a nice picture hanging there. Now all I could look at is some stairs and more doors.

Why can't they look outside I wonder? I could understand if I was on an underground floor or something.
