Ok... I'm not sure if this is the best place to put it, so if it's not, could a BM relocate it?
Anyway...
[Northeast Wilds, Piedmont]
A pair of gnarled and ancient oaks spread their massive branches as if in benediction over a thick, grassy knoll that rises to the side of the path. Variwinkles nob their large purple blossoms in mock approval on long, silken stems. You also see an abandoned pine plank house, an abandoned plank cabin, a grey fieldstone cottage with a huge oak tree placed by its entrance, and a cedar frame house.
Obvious paths: southeast, northwest.
I looked up "nob" ( http://www.dictionary.com is a beautiful thing...) and cannot see how it possibly fits in there. (Unless I missed it. It happens.) As near as I can tell, it's supposed to be "Variwinkles nod their large purple blossoms..."
Anyway, just thought I'd mention it, in case I'm right about the word.
