[Crossing, Midton Circle]
The cobblestone path underfoot splits to the east and west and spreads out to circle around an open plaza to the north. Tufts of tall grasses intermingled with fragrant herbs line the outer edges of the path, where well-kept homes peep from behind the trunks of several venerable oaks. The sound of running water provides a pleasant backdrop to the domestic scene, the source nearby but not immediately visible. You also see a trim red brick house, an oak-shingled cottage, an abandoned hickory frame cottage, a brown oak-shingled home, a cedar-trimmed white stucco house, an oak-shingled house with a huge oak tree placed by its entrance, a pine-shingled home with a silver and crystal windchime hanging over its door, and a cozy stone cottage.
Obvious paths: north, east, south, west.
