Okay... in no particular order:

Parrots- and all the other types of birds. E.G. songbirds, cockatiels, cockatoos, canaries, myna birds, etc. Would be fun if the parrots would ACTUALLY repeat things too.
>The parrot mockingly squakws, "Train that leather! Train that leather!"
>The parrot mockingly squawks, "Soon!"
Could even set it up so that you'd be able to 'teach' it several phrases. (under like a HOME setting type thing)

Maine Coon Cat- Granted it wouldn't be CALLED a Maine Coon Cat. Just need another suitable name for a HUGE cat.

Gilla Monster

Iguana

Rabbits

and for fun... an Ant Farm!

>shake ant farm
>You shake your glass ant farm, watching the critters scramble around to set things in order again. How cruel!

(if any of those are available now, my apologies, I haven't seen em)

Also for fun... if you have a cat or other animal that likes to climb, pet trees! As well as scratching posts, food dishes, toys, and the like. A nice dog bed or something. Granted those 'may' take up a furniture slot... but it's an idea anyway.

You do all know that the first pet bird you'll see will be a chicken correct? :)

I'd love to have a macaw as a familiar actually. I have two in my house presently. A Blue and Gold Macaw and a Military Macaw. :)

How about a M'rissan Grey parrot?

I'd like a songbird...

Though actually, something like a finch would do :) I just think it'd be nice to see a few birds among our choices for pets.

Chickens? YAY! Breakfast eggs for everyone!

Other than that, I vote for frogs and other amphibians. Some reptiles might be nice too. Also, there seems to be an overabundance of fleas from all of those pelts scraped, how bout an old fashioned flea circus. The swings and see-saw could occasionally act on their own.

I'd like an enchanted book. It could flip its pages occasionally. Snap shut. Flip open. Changes locations when your not looking.

Its a fantasy game, I'd like to see more fantasy based "pets". I think a mage could have a "magical" item as a pet. Magical in that it behaves like its alive but has no magical properties itself.

[Ithlia's Home]
Walls of painted hardwood and a cream-colored marble floor covered by a deep-woven lambswool carpet enclose this small room. In one corner lies a rich black cashmere sofa, and near the sofa sits a mosaic-topped occasional table with a lacy cashmere shawl woven with alternating diamonds of cream and black and a heavy silver goblet on it. A carved brick hearth burns along the far wall, above it hanging a flame-blackened cast-iron cauldron with a sculpted brass handle. The room holds a lingering scent of applewood smoke. You also see a cedar-framed casement window, an iron-trimmed oak door, a rich black cashmere armchair that is facing the hearth, a lined leather trunk with a bamboo music box on it,and a slender stand holding a gilt edged book.

The pages of the gilt-edged book flutter frantically for a moment then go still.

The gilt-edged book suddenly snaps shut sending a shower of swirling dust motes through the air.

<touch book>
You gently stroke the pages of the book and they rise up to flutter over your fingers for a moment before going still again.

I'm not that good at this sort of thing but you get the idea. :-)

Ideas are always good. :)

And as you all know, we've learned not to say "never" to much of anything.

Io, poking around.
