The wagon of cats for the Theren festival is awesome. My only problem is, I love my tetom, but... these cats are certainly intriguing! Anyone buy one yet? Do you enjoy the interaction with them?

I am still saving myself for my Inez on Mer'kresh.

> l ilithic cat
A glacial white Ilithic cat has fur that is medium long with no undercoat and with a ruff characteristic of many long-haired cats. His head is wedge-shaped, with a long nose, large, pointed ears, and medium-sized eyes that are almond-shaped and slanted. The cat has a long body that shows good muscling and ends in a medium fluffy tail. Legs are long, but the forelegs are shorter than the hind legs. The paws are egg-shaped and small.
He is standing.

> snug ili cat
You snuggle up beside a glacial white Ilithic cat.
You say, "Oh Inez, I am saving my money dear and I will have you out of here soon, I promise"

I have about 7 plats to go. {sigh}

I am very pleased we finally got festival pets! The color points are lovely and I adore the bobtail and jungle cat. Going to be tough to decide!

Thank you

I want to buy one, but I plan to move my home eventually. Would my cat stay in my home if it moved locations?

When you transfer your home to a new spot everything inside it stays: items, furnishings, pets. The door is the only thing that does not, because it is keyed to the home exterior type.

Somewhere on the west side of the festival grounds. I think it's in a wagon, but I'm not sure.

Estate holder meeting is scheduled for this Thursday, I'd expect them to open the Caves then and leave them open through the weekend as usual, Anghmar.

Yup, it's the dilipidated caravan. I bought a bobtail cat and love it. It's very interactive and handsome as well.

I really wish they'd have an aviary and sell pet birds. I'd even give up Harry the spider for a parrot.

As this is a fantasy game I'd really like to see some 'fantasy' pets. The cats, dogs and such are nice, don't get me wrong. They are just mundane. I could have a dog in real life, or a cat. I'd like to see things we can't get in RL. Enchanted items that act 'alive', like a book or flame that seems to have a life of its own. Arriving at night or somesuch. These things could be sold by a wizard rather then a pet merchant.

Or animals that are not available in real life. Such as tiny dragon type lizards, or imps, or sprites. Even a house ghost would be interesting. The homes trade hands often enough that someone surely must have died in one at some point.

Ithlia has the Tetomba'ia as its the only pet that is not a copy of a RL animal. Aside from the pet rocks I suppose, but even those are sort of a tongue in cheek kinda thing. Pet rocks were a RL craze for awhile.

Fest pets, all cats...sea caves...mostly cats...went to M'Riss, pet store...mostly cats

I like cats, own 2 irl, the fest pets are nice, my wife bought the jungle cat for her house.

I want the ferret put back in the seacaves, well, doesn't matter now that since it isn't there I blew the pet money on a fire place. But when I make the money back up, I want the ferrets.

Also perhaps a spider monkey, pot bellied pigs, parrots/other birds, fish (was an old fest where you could buy aquariums...lost my old aquarium), iguanas, rabbits, skunks....just odds and ends stuff that folks keep as pets..in each case I've known someone irl that has owned one of the above...something besides more cats and dogs.

Aye, I second that. I'm sick to death of cats. Why no birds? I myself would like a parrot even if it doesn't talk.
