Why is the pet shop in the Seacaves closed?
Lack of business. Poor Fenwyrthie (I think that was his name) simply cannot afford to keep his stock fed and watered, so while he's out collecting more beasts he let his current stock go.

QC = Quality Control. It's where a totally unrelated GM points out or fixes embarassingly obvious bugs, and notifies the needed authorities about unexpected issues that cannot be resolved by syntax editing alone (ie, planning out how the mech lore split will work).
I hear GMs are more willing to tackle the US tax code or muck out the North Road Caravansary outhouse with a straw than to QC, just to show you how well-liked that duty is.
