Greetings!
On Wednesday at (tentatively) 8:30pm EDT, I intend to begin a dual-purpose trip with Gulphphunger.
Goal #1: Save the turnips from the oncoming undead horde
I will be collecting any turnips people may have found and taking them to their "safe haven." While Gulph will take any turnips offered, as the player behind him I'd like to request that the foraged turnips be kept to one or two per person, as that could quickly get overwhelming.
For this leg of the mission, I would request the services of someone with a boat to travel between somewhere on the mainland and Aesry (and possibly Ratha). Compensation can be negotiated.
Additionally, please note that my PvP profile is always Open. Gulph cares about his turnips and will fight to the death (read: likely his own) for them. If you wish to be a turnip-eater who gets in his way, fine. All I ask is that anyone who intends to fight on either side of this please set your profiles to Open. Gulph will essentially be setting out alone, but is willing to pick up travelers along the way.
Goal #2: Shopping for the General Defense
Gulph has offered his services to the defenders of Therengia to purchase weapons, runes, wands, armor, and sundries. Word may not have reached commanders yet, but he has informed a few militia members by-the-by.
If I don't have any other information, I'm just going to pick up a handful of basic weapons and armor and some wands/runes and such as I go. However, if anyone wants to coordinate to arm the masses with specific supplies and quantities, that would be awesome. I may not be able to fund the arming of a province, but I can chip in, say, 40 plat to the cause, which should buy a good amount of store-bought stuff.
At this point, I'll ask any Commanders/higher-ups to coordinate and have one person from each militia give me a list if you wish to use Gulph's shopping service. Please keep in mind that it's Gulphphunger and he may be running into conflict and he's a drunkard, so caveat emptor. Still, he's a generally trustworthy sort (or at least well-intentioned).
