Are the dolls still for sale? And if so where? Methinks even though they're... disgustingly "cute" for Mozzik's tastes I might need to pick some up for the laughs.

they seem to be "evolving" at the same rate in both prime and plat. dunno where the vendor is in prime, but in plat the caravan is still sitting outside the NE gate. When he disappears is likely that the dolls will run amok.

okay, here's what happens when she decided to face the doll. <i had more than one doll in my vault, the others were untainted, were from different merchants>

You get a felt S'Kra Mur doll from inside a secure vault.
>put doll in vault
You put your doll in the secure vault.
>get other doll
You get an armored paladin doll from inside a secure vault.

An odd sort of shuffling noise comes from the vault. Suddenly your doll climbs out of it, crawling in a grotesque spider-like fashion with its limbs all splayed out and its head twisted upside-down, dropping to the ground and crouching on all fours. Its limbs writhe about briefly and then it turns its head to look straight at you, carrying the same blank smile it always has. However, you quickly notice its eyes are suddenly filled with an eerie sort of intelligence.
You feel briefly frozen in shock!

Swiftly pouncing, the ironwood doll ends perched on your shoulder with pure hatred in its eyes. Combined with its eerie, still-frozen smile, you become too distracted to notice the sharpened scissors in its hand descending upon your arm until it's too late! Sharp cracks follow a horrid squelch as the doll separates the limb at the shoulder, hazing your vision with pain.
You are stunned!

The Dwarf attendant barges in, wielding a hammer, and winces visibly as he spots you. He quickly pulls you out of the Carousel and towards help.
You notice the Dwarf carefully place all the things you'd left on the ground on the floor nearby.

Exotic tapestries of every possible description drape the wall ringing the Carousel's core. A circular roof supports a vast framework of iron and timbers rising to the building's apex. Countless gears, pulleys and weights within the structure form the strikingly complex and beautiful mechanism which drives the Carousel. You also see an ironwood arch, a blackwood arch, an ebony registration desk, a uniformed Dwarven attendant, a rosewood arch, a wooden rack with a green and gold brocade sack on it and a platinum arch.
Obvious exits: out.

You almost laugh at the makeshift weapon, until you realize that its edges are honed to razor sharpness. Pouncing on your back, the doll makes short work of your arms and legs with sharp jabs to each of them, severing the limbs at the shoulders and hips.
You are stunned!

I do love the mechanics of this game where you can be totally dismembered, missing everything but torso and head...and can still manage to walk.
Incidentally I am wondering how many Traders are at this point dreading to open their vaults lol.
