I put an old scroll in my new stacker today (an ornately bound scroll folio dyed a pale violet) and now I can't find it. When I count the folio it tells me there is one spell in it, but when I flip through the folio it says each section is empty, and when I turn to each section individually and read each section, they're all empty too. It seems to have eaten my scroll. See below:

>read vel
The faded vellum contains a complete description of the Glythtide's Gift spell.

The Glythtide's Gift spell provides refreshment for the parched, a bit of liquid courage to the cowardly, a drop of sunshine to warm chilly bones, a most efficacious draught to wet the whistles of Bards and Barbarians, chieftains and cutpurses, lords and layabouts, Gnomes and Gor'Togs.

Because you have learned the Magic Theorist feat, you can attempt to INVOKE the scroll to temporarily memorize it.
Roundtime: 15 sec.

No, I already saw that thread and that issue was not the same as mine, and the only advice was to LOOK at the stacker, which does not solve the issue I'm having.

>look at folio
Intricate designs of blooming wild flowers are inked into the soft leather cover. Their roots twine together to create a complex knotwork around the edges. At each corner, the pieces create a small trio of interlaced hearts.
This section is empty.

done x20 - each section is empty.

also, i have turned each section and pulled each section, and it tells me each is empty. so though it knows there is a spell in there somewhere, it can't tell me where and i can't pull the scroll out of any of the sections.

Look IN the stacker. And use GET to get it back.

I'm not sure I can take your claims to have read the other thread seriously. It was reported that PUT (which you used) is the wrong verb, and actually physically puts the scroll inside the container. You want to use push to add the scroll the tome. And like the GM said it's been fixed so you can now see what you've accidentally PUT there and retrieve them with get.

> you can put scrolls into the tome, not push, at which point there's no way to see them there unless you know to get them back out.

> However, there was an update to the stackers to deal with this. All you have to do is LOOK in the stacker and you'll see any scrolls put in it. You can then STUDY the stacker to get the correct syntax for stacking the scrolls.

Guys, address the topic, not the posters. Further conflictual posts will be hidden and forums warnings or cautions may be handed out.
