Thank you for breaking that all down. I'd like to point out that I did mention that the token auction did seem to have a bit of winners that were longer term or at least somewhat established players as winners. It seems your stats relay similar results.
I know your tweaking in a lot of different things for these various events. I think they are getting a bit better, for me I like how overall events are accessible for a little bit longer. I love HE festival, but it doesn't matter I almost never have my ticket purchased before the event starts. Sometimes even though I've been part of it for a while, it takes over a week.
What I guess I'm asking for is ways to get my feet wet, maybe show some rooms that are in the festival or events grounds, just to give the equivalent of a snap shoot of what the event has. Definitely keep to only ONE email and don't bombard me with stuff, however giving a little more depth like that concept of a snap shoot of the event may help me again get my feet wet (figuratively speaking).
I know that people want stuff to be happening but sometimes it seemed too jam packed, so a Jisi raffle would end and oh the Dispenser is getting drawn, give some time for people to socialize, allow those Archivist to have a little more time updating Elanthipedia and what not. I know (and I also know you guys have been committed and are pushing to fix issues [and hopfully have done a huge deal recently]) I've brought it up but lag kinda made that difficult in the recent festival for me.
Another thing is some type of central place to show off things. I know this wasn't part of the Dwarf festival, but I recently went to an in-game social/question event and someone had these neat earrings that popped up in the facial feature of her character (awesome idea by the way!), and I was involved a bit with the Dwarf Festival, but I had no idea about them till then. So having events where players can show off there still within the festival, even if there is no hand holding by the GM, just give a time, maybe make an announcement and hope the players put their character to show stuff off.
May Madness definitely had a lot going on, and it was rather impressive. I hope you guys keep tuning things in, and dialing away.
Thanks for all the coding, as well as other efforts done to make all this stuff possible.

It would be neat if, for this HE, everyone had access to the abdomen (and thorax?) of the spider. Maybe move some of the limited-item shops to a different spot to keep that exclusive to ticket holders. Most of those shops tend to be older ones that aren't refreshed heavily (I think - looking at the last two years most new/updated shops were elsewhere on the spider), so it's not like that stuff hasn't been around awhile already.
Uzmam! The Chairman will NOT be pleased to know you're trying to build outside of approved zones. I'd hate for you to be charged the taxes needed to have this place re-zoned. Head for the manor if you're feeling creative.

I appreciate that there is some experimentation going on but I really feel like the last few "events" (a term I have to use loosely due to the paywalls involved) have been almost utterly oriented toward solo play. Quests were traditionally group endeavors, even if you could technically solo them, while the last few events were really just about getting in and out and getting a goodie for yourself. There was nothing to encourage hanging out, roleplaying together, or community-building, which is the one aspect of DR that I feel is the most important and keeps people invested and playing more than anything else and also the one aspect of DR that has really felt lacking for me lately.
Please consider introducing things to encourage social play.

To be fair, I feel like most group adventures are effectively solo player experiences with the occasional group thing thrown in. All kill portions of quests, save that one spot in the prison quest, encourage solo play. Otherwise something big will come and kill you, or you'll spawn something that will kill someone else. Even that one spot (not sure about spoiler rules) is problematic as bigger people will just tell smaller people to wait at the start while they do the task.
For the parts that aren't kill related, it's mostly go off in your own direction and find something. You can do those as a group, but it's very inefficient. The one exceptions are a few parts of the pirate quest, which is by far my favorite. The loot is a bonus to a well-designed experience rather than the carrot to convince you to pay for the trip.
