Log has been edited to the primary interactions of the event.
You see Unforgiving Arpia, a Human Barbarian.
Arpia has an angular face with a generous mouth, sparkling moss-green eyes and a freckled nose. Her strawberry-streaked red-gold hair is short and curly. She has deeply tanned skin and a brawny figure.
She is slightly under average height for a Human.
She appears to be an adult.
Branded across her back are a series of animal paw prints, their sizes growing larger as they expand up toward her right shoulder. Puckered scars outline the shapes starting at a rabbit print with the smallest and ending with that of a bear's foreclaw.
She is in good shape.
She is wearing a snug leather bandeau, a double-wrapped leather weapon belt, a short loincloth made with multihued furs, a pair of fitted leather leggings and a pair of calf-high boots patched together from furs.

Arpia says, "I suppose some of you think you're good enough to earn a brand from me."

Arpia says, "You'll have a few days."
>
Arpia says, "You must be the person I handed the bag to in order to return it to me."
>
Arpia says, "Three items from each list are tokens in tents I have had set up in different places."
>
Arpia says, "Only Barbarians can enter these tents."
>
Arpia says, "If you return a bag to me that does not have everything, you will not have earned a brand."
>
Arpia says, "I expect you to do your own work. I obviously can't watch you all but call it a test of honor."
>
Arpia grins wryly.
>
Arpia says, "You can bring people with you if they want to watch. But it might get dangerous for them."
>
Arpia says, "I'd suggest one of those creepy mages that spy on people if you want to watch a Barbarian."
>
Caraamon loudly asks, "Out of curiousity, are all da lists da same?"
>
Arpia says to Caraamon, "No."
>
Caraamon loudly says, "Huh, dat'll be interestin den."
>
Arpia says, "Some lists might be harder or easier, but that depends on where your strengths are."
>
Arpia says, "I will now be picking names and giving out the bags. I have decided that you may defer your bag to someone else if your name is picked. But you must do it before I hand you the bag and you do not have long to decide."
>
Arpia says, "They must still be of 100th circle or higher. And a Barbarian."
>
Malkien is next.
>
Malkien says, "Well."
>
Arpia asks Malkien, "Do you want the bag or are you offering it to another?"
>
Malkien says, "Everild has called me to the vanguard."

Chuno flashes a wide grin.
>
Chuno deeply says, "Danks."

>

>
Arpia says, "Before everyone runs off."
>
Arpia says, "I see we have a few left on the list that did not get a bag."
>
Arpia says, "And I seem to have two extra."
>
Arpia asks, "Would those who are left be willing to fight for them?"
>
Arpia says, "If you are on the list and willing to fight. Join me."

There was then much merriment, and sparring. The haversacks/backpacks handed out contain a list of 10 tasks. First three are tokens that can be bought for lirums in remote locations (mostly Qi/Forf), the remaining seven are trophies from monsters that appear to flex to the skill of the user. A few generally seem to be in the same skill range, and a few appear to be considerably larger (100+ ranks higher).

>>Mahe, that was a very classy and generous thing to do.
Let me say that it most definitely was and so very unexpected. I dunno how I'll ever repay it. I can say truthfully without it, I'd not have gotten to enjoy this. The final battle was Drunstan and Penethol and I know for a fact I couldn't beat Drunstan.
This event to me, showed exactly what Dragonrealms is.. players working together..GMs creating great events...and everyone getting an equal and fair opportunity.
The quest was so much fun. Im sorry you missed it Mahe, a part of me feels super guilty but the other is so excited. This is something I've wanted for a long time and thanks to you and only you..I was able to get it. Fate was not on my side with the list picking and battling. Thanks for being a really great guy!
I do want to point out.. Mahe and Caidie have a history of arguing about being the better Elven barb. Today I will say..he is the better of the two.
Thanks again to the staff and Mahe, The Elven Barb.
Love, Caidie.
