[Haalikshal Highway, Himineldar Shel to Ain Ghazal]
The Dwarven road, smoothly cobbled, well drained and in good repair, marches through, around and over the knees of the mountains to the west. They rise rank on jagged rank, and the road points straight to their heart. You also see a muscular ghoulish slayer, a black-backed jackal that appears stunned and a narrow road winding southeastward along the mountain.
Obvious paths: northeast, northwest.

You see a black-backed jackal.
The black-backed jackal has minor swelling and bruising in the chest area compounded by deep cuts across the chest area.
It is wearing nothing!
It is carrying nothing!

it just sat there stunned, never seen a jackal in hib before.
eventually I cut it's head off, i was visited by a golden jackal once and I couldn't figure it out, so I took it out on this guy now.

I'd have to agree, I haven't seen any jackals out in Hib either. Maybe he just got lost and wandered over from shard.... through griffins... mass amounts of undead... and then through the city... Ok I've got nothing.
