Due to the nature of many the attacks in Ilithi, that is, frequently being more oriented toward assassinations and thuggery than to heavy invasion requiring front-line combat forces, I've been tasked to assemble a strike force to respond to these threats. It's a cat-and-mouse game we are playing, and I need a dedicated and competent team that is willing to drop whatever they are doing at a moment's notice. We must be able to assemble quickly and act cohesively if we are to provide adequate defense to the people of Ilithi.

Since none of us can be available constantly, it is my goal to recruit enough members that we will always have a viable team on call at any time of day or night.

Additional duties will include patrol of the territories surrounding Shard, providing unit support, escorts and security details as deemed necessary, conducting investigations of enemy activity and attendance at regular briefings.

Applicants are required to swear loyalty to the Ferdahl, The Three and The Protectorate, must be residents (citizenship is preferred, but not required) of Ilithi, and above all must be able to maintain battlefield discipline (I've seen too many units as organized (and efficient) as a bucket of tadpoles.) Those with experience in guerrilla warfare are especially desired.

Those accepted into the unit will be granted the rank of Sergeant, with all the privileges and responsibilities thereof, and will report directly to me under Commander Daxlynn.

In a unit such as this, teamwork is paramount. We cannot afford power struggles, and I will not tolerate lapses in discipline... so check your quest mentality at the door. It's not about who leads or controls, or who gets the kills/loot/credit/glory in battle.. it's about selfless service to the Ferdahl, and to all of Ilithi.
