On doing silly things just to see how they work. This is something silly I wonder on. Say you get the troops marching thru a area with water. then say a moonie opens a gate to some anoying out the way place from that room. Would the enemy unit or division or whatever be washed thru it to the new area?
can critters still be washed thru gates? Would make me laugh if on a unit a beam was set. then a moonie sat in some big water area and kept washing critters into it to have them attack enemy for them.
LOL. A new form of hostile recrument... Sorry no fighting me. here is your deployment orders...

Hmm. I think washing critters through was totally removed for a variety of reasons. I know it use to run into all sorts of bugs if you washed an Els-thingy through one <G>. Of course you too get pulled through the gate when you open one like that... so even though (in theory) the entire unit would be prone, you would be too... and from what I've heard about the ability of Outcasts to kill on sight, I don't think many mages would take that risk.

Feh, if there's a unit in a water area, casting Chain Lightning should damage everything in the unit.
