After suffering heavy losses, the Baron's Own Miltia, Front Line division, seeks to replenish its numbers. This is the division responsible for the heavy defense against the assaults, ie, deal with the hostiles. Any interested are to seek out any Baron's Own Militia officer, and ask, or go directly to, Officers Shalade, Samsaren, Alaxndr, or Harome.

Number one requirement, make your presense known, often enough.

Signed,
The Shield Crafter
Harome, until our next encounter

Like to add to this for my own little project...
For you low circle'd folk, I need 7 unit captains and 21 corporals (no title or badge) for manning the siege engines. Captains would do well to have fair mech and crossbow skill. (100 or better, preferrably). Strength and courage is a definite attribute to keep turning that lever and loading the balistas, scorpians and onagers. I will attempt to gather magical augmentation for the captains but such items are borne with the understanding that they are to be used only when manning the engines.
Circle 0 and up have a place manning the engines but be ready to give your life in the cause should fighting spill over into the block where you are turning the handles.

Nodwick: "Okay... this is ominous."
Yeagar:"If "ominous" means something that makes you "*need to change your shorts*", then I've learned a new word."
(Moments later) I think I just "ominoused" myself.

Uhm... I do hope this is going to be done in the spirit of cooperation with the other groups and individuals that are also/already focused on manning the siege engines. Yes, I'm saying this as kindly and diplomatically as I can, no sarcasm here. Usually we of Haven do a great job working together during invasions, like to see it continue.

Those who are there are there and good on ya for being there.
If I had one team extra it's more than I have right now.
Last invasion I spent 3 minutes loading, aiming and shooting by myself until I got bored with being pelted by piddly goblin arrows are advanced the buggers. (Pleasent to actually be strong enough to take on an invading critter rather than dying in moments)

If there are active civillian teams on the ball I won't interfere. So long as the circle 1 with 3 mech and 5 HX isn't the one doing the shooting. ;)

Jerevth,
I stand ready to man a crew, tho I won't be part of any organized infantry again. If I be awake, you can be sure I'll be in Haven if she's assaulted.

All I ask, Maulem.
Organization and teamwork make for a smoothly shot scorp. Practice and run it off by the numbers so the shooter isn't the ont tied up in RT from the last turn or loading. Have someone repair it while it's being cranked back- all time savers. I'll look into getting you a CJ for whichever skill weighs more- Mech of HX..
I'll even play target with a shield out for your training.

Thanks for the offer of the CJ, Jere, but...being a barb...and an uber-conservative one as far as magic is concerned, I'm not sure I can use one, and probably wouldn't if I had one unless in dire dire need.

I can hit most things except for outcasts anyway. And Deagar, you're sure welcome to crank and load with me any day, bud.
