I'd like to start by applauding Naohhi's brilliant contests and racial cultural fairs. Both are excellent additions and in the case of the later, make for fun distractions and role playing opprotunities!

Keeping that in mind I'd like to make a suggestion or two for possible in game contests similar to the recent tattoo design contest (which was hugely fun by the way, and fiendish of you to make us wait until guildfest to see which designs were finally chosen!) for those of us who enjoy seeing our ideas made real and able to be enjoyed by others.

First, a spell prep contest to add a few new options for customized spell preparation. Either updating the mage in Fang Cove, or adding a new wandering merchant like the one at Wren fest, who would be around for special occasions.

Additionally, a new creature contest. You give us a general direction to work with regarding it's basic concept: biped/quadruped/etc, undead/construct/etc, if it drops boxes/gems, habitat and environs it would live in, so on and so forth. Then in turn we would come up with the name, description, a few messages for it, etc. You know, that old chestnut.

When naming your holy weapon consider the following: Everyone has a Holy Avenger or a Divine Vengeance. Why not go with something your foes will never accept the shame of being smote by, "The Fuzzy Kitten".

Agreed with snake-breath. I'd submit on that too. And this is something I wish there was more in general. What an awesome way for people to customize themselves.
