..take White Plume Mountain (pub. 1979, TSR), adapt it for dragonsrealm, market it as the first in a new series of quests inspired by the very best adventures that AD&D EVER had to offer. Some of the worlds most beloved shows, like Ally McBeal, pay homage to predecessors who so influenced our present day experience. It's an acceptable, usual and customary practice in entertainment and even gaming.

We have Hollowseve or ween or whatever we call it; and we have something that turns a phrase on christmas.

To conclude, I would really like to see a series of paid quests that are directly inspired by the best handful of TSR-published dungeon crawls.

If anyone is so completely daft that they've never heard of White Plume Mountain, I suggest you diaf. Or look at this link.

fyi this is the dungeons that introduces "Blackrazor", an acknowledged (by the writer) ripoff of Elric's sword Stormbringer, both of which suck souls from their enemies - and both have a measure of independent intelligence.

Simply nerf those ideas, etc. The DR refit dungeon doesn't have to have Blackrazor as one of the 3 relics.

Throw in Temple of Elemental Evil while you are at it. Oh the memories.
