I loved that there were a few pieces of "Trader Appraisal" items at the festival, I didn't really find any that fit my style personally and I was wondering if there were any sort of merchants who specialize in working with these items? If not, how hard would it be? On the flip side, how hard would it be to add this sort of special quality to a standard item? Has this ever been done before?

I'd love to get some of my altered items (which mention multiple materials in their description like animite, fancy gems, etc.) enhanced so that I could work them into my training instead of having them just look pretty. I could totally understand if this sort of thing was uncommon, expensive, and perhaps even Trader-only since they are the only ones who can really benefit from the work.

Just an idea. :)

Well that's why I'm asking/suggesting it here. I've never seen it done, but that doesn't mean people don't do it. If anyone has had something made, they are welcome to speak up.

Either way you do it, the appraisal details need to be adjusted to fit the item.
