so how about something like this. Maybe it could become a festival attraction or even a permanent part of the game.
Would have to limit the times you could use it especially if it was made permanent. make it usable once a day or
week. It would make for a cool way to learn what you can and can't hunt without traveling all over the place, or
having to worry about dying in the middle of no where. Also it would help get some of the coins out of the economy,
and maybe even help with some of the hunting congestion. You Could charge by the circle or something. Oh and it would
finally give us the ability to hunt some dragons.
You also see a massive building with an elaborately carved gated entryway.
>look gate
The gate is small in comparison to the enormous walls that house T'tocs Dragon Paradise.
Carved into the metal rails of the gate are images of various dragons in different stances.

A lone sales woman stands behind a crude counter made out of various colored dragons scales. Seven
arches lead out from the hall to the private hunting rooms. Each carved with dragons engaged in battle.

Welcome to T'Tocs Dragon Paradise.
Just give your token to the attendant. You will then have about 1 minute before your hunting adventure begins.
If you need to leave the hunt for repairs or equipment changes you can go into the attendants booth.
Your time stills counts while in the booth. You can end your hunt at any time by exiting the room.
All time remaining will be lost when you exit the room. Thank you for your patronage, we hope you
have a wonderful time.

The attendant smiles.
Thank you for choosing T'tocs. Your hunt will begin shortly. she says with a smile.

A loud siren fills the air as the dragons you've selected begin to step out of the moongate.
>>>>>>>hunting time<<<<<<<<<<<
A loud siren fills the air again, this time alerting you that your hunting adventure has come to an end.
The moongate collapses in on itself drawing all the remaining live dragons back to where they came from.
Thank you again for choosing T'tocs Huntsman's Paradise. Please gather your items and exit the room in a
timely manor. The attendant says with a smile.

Yes it would be a place you could go and hunt dragons of different skill levels. In case you didn't notice the game is called Dragon Realms, what more could you want. I think it would be cool to actually get to fight some. Maybe I should have posted this in the Barbarian area instead.

Sorta like the targetting constructs at the WM guilds - cept we use 'order' and that gives us a list of difficulties. I also always thought that something like this was what that Castle out the Haven North gate was for.
also...
origami dragons can be found near the paper mill before Darkstone/Dirge- not quite the same, but you can set them on fire, and even a newb can kill a dragon.
but, there's more...
killing a dragon might negatively affect the land it's tied to, corrupting what's around it(i'm guessing it could work in reverse, since they're affected by the condition of their domain.
Dragon lore! it exists(though it all comes from the forums mostly), and so do they (the Dragon Priests follow one after he fried their last priestess, the Ferdahl even had a meeting with him/it.)

and for those curious..
order
[Syntax: ORDER <type> CONSTRUCT. Ask the attendant about constructs to find out the types.]
> ask att about const
The attendant glances at you and says, "Constructs are targets made out of elemental magic, their sole purpose being to provide you with something to shoot at. There are six levels of constructs, each with their own skills. Where one mage may find an intermediate construct easy to hit, another would be unable to come near it with his spells. The costs for the constructs vary. They are:
Easy - 20 kronars
Moderate - 50 kronars
Intermediate - 100 kronars
Hard - 600 kronars
Advanced - 1000 kronars
Impossible - 1500 kronars
If you want a construct, you will need to ORDER one. If you don't have the coin with you, the amount will be added to your debt. Unless you already owe too much already, in which case you'll need to pay that off first."
> order easy const
The attendant leans toward you and says, "It will cost 20 kronars for that type of construct."
You smile at the attendant and hand him the money.
The attendant pulls a small talisman out of his robes and gazes at it intently. After a few seconds, a ball of mist forms in the range and slowly solidifies into an easy construct.
> look
>
[Warrior Mage Guild, Target Range]
Blackened marks mar the surface of the grey stones which form this room. The charred remains of a tapestry hang on one wall, now only a narrow border of blue surrounding a black-edged hole. From time to time, young apprentices sidle in to practice their magic upon one of the constructs, only to hurry off to classes. They leave behind new pits in the stone walls, though perhaps not much damage to the construct they had aimed at.
You also see an easy construct, a vaulted arch and a Halfling attendant.
Obvious exits: none.
> app const
You are certain that the easy construct is healthy.
You are certain that it is far weaker than you are.
You are certain that it is a great deal less agile than you are.
You are certain that it is far less disciplined than you are.
You are certain that it is a great deal less quick to react than you are.
You are certain that it is far less conditioned than you are.
Taking stock of its offensive abilities, and defending with an onyx-hide targe with fitted seamsnaturally, you are certain that the easy construct is a very easy opponent.
Taking stock of its defensive abilities, and attacking with your fists, you are certain that the easy construct is a creature completely beneath your notice.
If you brawled with the enemy you are certain that it would train quite badly.
If you defended by parrying attacks, you are certain that the enemy would train quite badly.
If you defended by evading attacks, you are certain that the enemy would train quite badly.
If you defended by blocking attacks, you are certain that the enemy would train quite badly.

As far as Dragons go, I don't want them to become something that is regularly huntable, because it'll eventually become oh Dragons I can dance with 14 if the game allowed it, and I can kill 1 per strike, kinda like how back in the day Rock Guardians were all Huge, and now are just something on the way to greatness, heck I don't think everyone even goes that way.

What of the Warrior Mages developed some way to created these things? You know how Gargoyles are made by man...? How about this persons idea?
I don't know, maybe I'm not making much sense, not even to myself but just putting my own brainstorm in without inflicting negative comments to it.
