Alexii, dear friend and Patriarch of your tribes,
It has been so long since I have heard your voice. And along with the swirling desert sands, it feels as if each step I take is a step away from home. But I remain dutibound here. Tonight the Arisen abomination known as Sahfra assaulted Zoluren tonight. We did our best, we really did. I retreated into the temple with some others to charge the defenses, as they were starting to run dangerously low.
I came out and saw none other than his Highness Prince Vorclaf, but there was something different about him. Tired, yes. But that was not it. Whisps of ethereal blue energy writhed around his face and body. At times, I could see the face of a wolf.
Could this be a sign from the Gods that it is time to strike back? How is the Velaka? Are you keeping them safe?
Any news from King Arhhdan? King Raenilar?
Any news is welcome news, old friend.
Penned by my hand,
Terra Talmuron
P.S. I have something for you, I think it will look delightful in your cage. Details to follow, I don't want this falling into short hands!

Muse Terra,
Firstly, thank you for your words. I had been growing more concerned about the affiars outside of the desert. I am glad to know that you are still alive and that the hoarde has not been able to beat you down. I'm sure the bodies of the recently dead and recently living are not improving the stench of that armpit of a city. Do take care not to let that rotten smell sink deep into your silks, you might find it to be quite a task to wash it out once it has set.
I am actully glad to hear news that the Prince has been seen walking the streets of his city. As a Paladin, I would have expected his role in this fighting to have been made much sooner than this. But as he is now a husband with family, I am sure his first wishes were to see that family to safety before joining the fray. However, as a Paladin I fear he places too much of his faith in the abilities of the High Priestess and other servants of the Gods. In doing so, I also fear he neglects the power which he holds within himself. Perhaps when you speak of the wolf, it is a manifestation of this inner-power.
The Velaka is well. There have been no more refugees entering the city, and beleive it or not some have even left. It seems that the initial months of fighting did much to unsettle the nerves of some. However when faced with having to struggle here in the desert heat, many have chosed to face the undead. Heh. The two Kings remain silet for now. The city King has been sending many supplies to the East at the request of the Baron and his allies. Unlike the desert King, who has decided to keep his post of observation until his aide is requested.
Please continue to send your reports of the conflicts outside of the desert. Your notes have given many the strength to rise up and attempt to reclaim abandoned homes which they have left in haste. But, don't forget to watch your back while you're doing all this writing; The undead dont care for librarians.
Your friend,
Alexii
P.S. I recieved the gift from the courier whom you sent to deliver it. It's perfect, thank you!
