Emissary Alexii,
It is refreshing to see the words have you penned down on this parchment. I am glad to see that the Velaka remains untouched. I fear it is only a matter of time before the armies march across the desert and our safety is compromised. When that time comes, I hope you know where I will stand.
A couple other bits of news, things I am sure have reached your ears by now. One of Lyras' Risen Klusarlaik has been laid to rest. Lyras no longer tugs at the strings of her being and we held a memorial service at the High Altar of Zoluren to offer her items as a sacrifice to the Thirteen. I think this went well, and I am happy that she or her loved ones now feel some peace.
As for the Elven abomination, I have no words. Something dark stirs within her, but it is not the same as the Hunger clinging to Lyras. It is something else, sinister and malicious. Part of me fears the soulless monster that fills that small shell, and another part of me feels nothing but pity and remorse. It is hard to recognize that no soul lies in that shell. She is without mercy. I hope you are prepared if you ever meet her in battle.
Remember that there is strength is numbers and that I will always be just a call away.
May this letter find you and yours well. Please keep me informed. I have been taking part of the Kermorian Coalition League, and I will keep you informed as to any new information I come across. Right now, it is merely speculation and I am weary to write down what I know on this parchment. It has a long way to go.
I write this with nostalgia and with great love,
Terra Talmuron
