An elegantly quilled parchment posted beside the drawbridge of Theren Keep reads:

His Grace, Baron Gyfford Theren, is calling for all Therengian brigade/Order commanders, or their immediate seconds, as well as all local citizens for a formal audience where His Grace will address several provincial matters and hear all petitions.

All friends of Therengia are invited to attend. Proper decorum is expected, as always.

OOC:
When: Tuesday, May 23rd

Uzmam! The Chairman will NOT be pleased to know you're trying to build outside of approved zones. I'd hate for you to be charged the taxes needed to have this place re-zoned. Head for the manor if you're feeling creative.

I think it means that you will be attending an address by royalty, so, dress appropriately.

I'll go one further; dress appropriately, and act* courteously.

Appropriate dress in this context means no pets, pigs, or atmospherics. Seriously people you can stow that crap for 30 minutes.

Appropriate behavior would mean be polite. The people you are speaking with wield power comparable to the President of the US. Even if you don't respect them, be subtle about it. Don't just whip out the poo and fling it around, you'll end up arrested or worse. It also means don't be disruptive, which partially ties back to 'take off your spam-the-room crap, and probably extends to 'release your spells that message the room'.

Appropriate behavior does not mean fawning, boot licking. It just means staying cognizant of the fact that you are addressing royalty in their center of power and trying to be the 'typical adventurer smartass' will not play well.
