I have an item that has an embroidery pattern added to it; is it possible to remove or hide these? I tried the modern method (cleaning cloth) with no success.

I was afraid that might be case; this is an old item so unfortunately not replaceable. I'll have to start thinking of a suitable alteration. Regardless, I appreciate the confirmation.
