Any chance parry sticks can be added to shaping, or at least make the store bought repairable?

Store bought parry sticks are not repairable by the armourers?
Funn,y I know I've had several characters have theirs repaired by the havens folks, crossings folks, & Fang cove folks. I cant for the life of me remember if the metal folks or leather folks do them as I usually do a repair all & dont pay attention to who takes what, but I do know they had to put them back on later.
Maybe it has to be done under the repair all action?
