Good People, Trikein was looking today for one of your members to travel with him to document the (link) between grain, spores disease and a cure. Not finding anyone, I went him him with the promise I would relay it to you here. I edited as much as possible to relay the message and not ruin his message.
Trikein says, "Near my home. I would tell you where, but It happens to be my hiding place as well."
You ask, "Did the pale white spores cure her disesae?"
Trikein says, "Prince is not fond of me, so I must sleep outside the city walls."
Trikein says, "Him, and yes."
Trikein says, "One second.."
Trikein says, "I have a written account that he later kindly wrote for me."
You ask, "Is it something you can share?"
Trikein says, "But the short version is he dragged someone that died.."
Trikein nods.
Trikein says, "That I will."
Trikein says, "Someone quite oddly just appeared in the Empath Lobby last night. She wasn't their..then she died."
Trikein says, "Very odd..not sure if that has anything to do with anything, but it was odd."
Trikein says, "Maybe she was hidden then..but anyway."
Trikein says, "So this young empath, quite startled, dragged her to the Main room."
You listen intently to the sounds around you.
You nod to Trikein.
Trikein says, "And they started to heal her, but he wasn't much help."
Trikein says, "Young and all."
Trikein says, "But he then started to heal someone else..someone who didn't have a disease."
You nod in agreement.
Trikein asks, "And halfway into it, he got the disease. And I guess it hindered his healing?"
Trikein says, "I really don't know the empathic arts that well, so the scroll is somewhat forign to me.."
You say, "If he is young, it probably did. Along with scaring him."
Trikein says, "But I do know, from my percpective, he was doing quite poorly in health"
Trikein says, "Well, that is another thing. As he tells me, he is young in body, not in spirit."
Trikein says, "Well, as I was saying. He had the disease, was about to die.."
Trikein says, "Then I gave him the spores."
Trikein says, "He had been looking inside himself so to speak for quite some time, to check his health."
You say, "Quite an ordeal it sounds like."
Trikein says, "And right after he ate them he felt: "strangely full of extra energy""
Trikein says, "Now as I know it, that is something you feal when a paladin cast courage on you."
You say, "Very intriguing"
Trikein says, "Or a cleric cast some other kind of spell.."
You say, "Correct, or if we have gift of life on ourselves."
Trikein says, "But as I see it.."
Trikein says, "Yes."
You say, "Or refresh "
Trikein says, "He said none of those happened."
Trikein says, "He and another empath was quite curious about the spores."
Trikein says, "They said they helped. And then one wanted to buy them."
Trikein says, "I didn't want to make money off them, didn't seem right since I pick them for free.."
Trikein says, "But also couldn't tell them where to pick them, because that would be leading him into my home.."
You say, "Very kind of you."
You say, "That seems to be a problem doesn't it."
You ponder.
Trikein nods.
Trikein says, "I would be more then willing to share all with someone of importance in a clan or group."
You ask, "Perhaps if they are found to actually work, they can be located somewhere else?"
Trikein says, "Why I wished to speak with the White Rose."
Trikein says, "Well, if they are found to work, I would have no quarms in telling everyone where to find them."
Trikein says, "I can find a new home, for such a thing would help many."
You say, "Trikein I'm not sure who's awake or about or when. Let me do a quick look."
You say, "I tend to only see them on occasion."
Trikein says, "All I wish is to be involved in the investigation.."
Trikein says, "Because this all came from something else I was looking into."
Trikein says, "Well, a order of some kind would be useful because then they would have offical word."
Trikein says, "Many say many things do things.."
Trikein chuckles.
You smile at Trikein.
You say, "Well I think the ESC Empath group has done a fine job of getting the word out on many things."
You say, "I'm still looking for someone."
Trikein says, "Because as I know it, not many have even looked into the cause of the different diseases."
Trikein says, "And As I know it, there are three."
Trikein says, "One which is Gangreenish in nature. Infects those that tend there bleeding wounds too much."
Trikein says, "One which is sometimes caught around certain critters or places."
You say, "You mean the Empath group? We have seen these odd diseases showing up over the past week or two."
Trikein says, "And one which is a fungus. Sometimes spread by boxes or things."
Trikein says, "I actually have several clues. One points to Arthe."
You say, ?Some believe they came from boxes.. others said it leaped from one person to another."
Trikein says, "Well, as I know it the disease, or atleast a very simular disease was created by a group called the Knights of the Silver Arrow."
You ask, "You belive the start of some of the disease is in Arthe?"
Trikein says, "Actually, to be more precise, it was created by a necromancer hired by them."
You nod to Trikein.
Trikein says, "Not sure actually. I just found a bag of.."
Trikein asks, "Knights of the Silver Arrow visited these lands?"
You say, "I've never heard of the Knights of the Silver Arrow."
Trikein says, "I have evidence that they were the Army of Shadow Clan."
You ask, "What leads you to believe that Arthe might be a source point?"
Trikein says, "It would take a long time to explain, but the edvidence I have is real."
You say to Trikein, "Evidence.. "
Trikein says, "Solid things others can find and look at."
Trikein says, "Not just stories."
You say, "Not the rumors. "
Trikein says, "One such piece is the tapastry Sorrow's men stole from Terald."
Trikein says, "This was a long time ago ofcourse."
You nod to Trikein.
Trikein says, "And not directly connected to this, but on that painting, was that of 6 men, fighting a snake like creature."
Trikein says, "Three wore a mix of chain and leather, and used Pole arms."
Trikein says, "The other three were in the bushes, using bows."
Trikein says, "I found a place with a picture of one of these mam..a large green scale.."
Trikein says, "A broken Pole arm.."
Trikein says, "Under the painting that Terald had it said Shadow Clan."
You ask, "This is near your home?"
Trikein says, "The painting? No."
Trikein says, "I wish I knew who had that now."
You nod politely.
Trikein says, "Would be quite inetested in studing it."
Trikein says, "I have just seen it in records of his auction."
Trikein asks, "It is lost?"
Trikein asks, "Were not the items returned?"
Trikein says, "Or rather, found. Dropped oddly by Sorrow's men."
You say, "I'm not to say. Often we are told one thing, yet something devious happens. I believe it should have been returned, yes."
Trikein says, "Interesting, never considered that."
Trikein says, "Bur either way, it really isn't connected to this as a whole."
Trikein says, "But rather"
Trikein says, "My real edvidence comes from that young empath last night."
Trikein says, "Also a journal I found."
You say, "I agree, it's hard to argue with what he can see and feel with our own bodies."
Trikein says, "A real recorded journal one of the last Knights of the Silver arrow."
You ask, "That's very interesting. Is it a journal that I might look at?"
Trikein asks, "It details how his group has created a spore like disease. That spreads much like..a army of ants but smaller?"
Trikein says, "I just came from there.."
Trikein says, "I hope you can understand my frusteration. You see I have been studing this for a great many years."
Trikein says, "Not the diseases ofcourse. Just the Knights."
Trikein says, "And I have shown several people the journal."
Trikein says, "Each looks at it..is admazed.."
Trikein says, "Then nothing comes of it."
You say, "We do not want the disease to spread any further, if a cure or the cause can be found."
Trikein says, "And I feal like I have wasted a good part of my day."
Trikein nods to you.
You ask, "May I see it?"
Trikein asks, "If I show you, can I have your word you will carry its story to others of importance?"
You nod emphatically.
Trikein cringes.
You say, "I am taking detailed notes. This is valuable information."
Trikein says, "But do not show where others can find it..because like the medicine, it is near my home."
Trikein says, "But..bahh, so be it."
Trikein says, "I feal I know how this is going to evolve."
Trikein chuckles.
Trikein says, "I will be pushed aside by someone soon enough."
You say, "I will do what you wish, to show or not. The information is extremely important to the health and well being of our warriors."
Trikein says, "They will take over my research and claim it as there own.."
Trikein nods to you.
Trikein says, "And for that reason alone I will show."
You say, "I'm sure your name will not be forgotten with this."
Trikein says, "I am not that selfish, just hate that it went this way."
venturing.
Trikein laughs!
>Trikein says, "You misunderstand my worries."
Trikein says, "But nevermind, let us take a look."
Trikein asks, "Still joined?"
You say, "Very well, yes I am."
Trikein asks, "Now I am sure you know of the Mushroom in the farmhouse yes?"
Trikein asks, "Blocked door..odd gamegweth engraving?"
You say, "From my youth, but it's been a long while since I have returned."
Trikein says, "You see, as I have come to conclude, the entire land about here was changed."
You say, "Yes it has."
Trikein says, "Old Crossing used to be centered further to the East."
You say, "Underground now I believe."
Trikein says, "It was burried, because someone damned the River out the west gate."
Trikein says, "When the damn was broken, and this was LOOOOONG ago, the city was rebuilt."
You say, "I'd have loved to have seen that city. I've only seen the rubble."
Trikein says, "There are still passages."
You say, "Yes there are."
Trikein says, "Some not on maps.."
>Trikein smiles.
Trikein asks, "Would you like to see the farmhouse again?"
You say, "I would."
<long travel to farmhouse>
