I suppose I'll begin with an introduction. I'm Manze, and I'm sure many of you have seen me around the realms for quite a bit of time minus a forced sabatical for a couple years. Before I left, the White Rose was a thriving and active order, one which I was a member for nearly as long as I've been wandering the Realms before there ever was any official sanctioning of the Orders. Since coming back nearly a year ago, I've found that there hasn't been much said or done in the Order, things have apparently fallen apart. Apart from a few people still active in the lands, our presence has dwindled to nearly nothing. As I was only a simple member and not even on the Council, I felt there was nothing more I could do but to offer my aid, which was respectfully declined. This was the state of affairs in the Order.
Two days ago, Ariawen contacted me to inquire about the White Rose. She asked me questions about the standing of the Order, and informed me that we would lose our sanction if the membership didn't meet the requirements for said sanction. I suggested she might best write to those on the Council and the officers for a definative answer, meanwhile I'd see what I could do to get in touch with those I knew in the Order. Later that night, I attended the Orders meeting at the Amphitheatre, and sad as it is to say, I was the only one of the Order present. After the meeting was over, I spoke with Ariawen privately, and have taken up the task of rebuilding the Order. She has forwarded a list of the current membership, along with the charter and by laws. All else must be rebuilt from scratch. I have started a group to facilitate communication and planning meetings. This is the state of the Order as it stands now.
So those who wish to remain in the Order need to contact me and inform me of your intentions. Those who are interested in joining also need to get in touch with me. Much work needs to be done, and I'm looking for those with the time and energy to help make the White Rose back into what it once was. If you cannot find me in the Realms, email me at wdamore@play.net.
Yours Truly,
Manze Losterik
