Greetings,
<<"... board GM's would remove any post to the contrary by deeming it as being too negative...">>
Nope - I'm sure the organizers want to read both good & bad feedback or any other ideas to improve their event.
Don't confuse our jobs - a GM seldom hides a post unless it REALLY needs hiding. BMs (Board Monitors/Moderators) don't pull posts just because someone states a negative opinion. Unfortuantly many posters tend to express their negative feedback or comments in a manner that requires them to be pulled. I've posted many contrary opinions or negative feedback as a player and none were hidden.
Hints for posting a negative opinion (or anytime):
* Don't insult the person, the entire game, company or event
* Use proper English grammer and spelling in normal sentence case
* Don't flame, vent or otherwise use the post to express rage and anger
* Be polite - like writing it to your beloved Granny who tells you to mind your manners
* Don't troll or antagonize - pretend Granny carries a loaded double barrel 10 gauge shotgun
* Make recomendation not demands or threats - pretend both hammers are cocked with the barrels in your belly
* Don't use words your sweet old granny may not like - pretend she hates cleaning blood off of her lace curtains
After all, Granny bakes delicious cookies and loves to hear from you.
She just gets upset when people stomp into her house wearing muddy shoes.
