I know that there's a 30 day waiting period before you can choose a new citizenship after canceling an old one. My question is if I take the degan from leth to cancel my citizenship on m'riss, does that mean I won't be able to take the degan back to return to the crossing?

I don't know if the loss of m'riss citizenship benefits begins at the start of the 30 days or at the end. I'm hoping at the end, but thinking I can't be that lucky.
