The Crossing ferry is 35 coppers. ;)

And yes, it does take less time. It's an awful long walk to the gondola, the gondola waits about 4 minutes at each platform, and the trip across is long enough for my trader to run my instrument-playing script at least twice.

I remember. I want to say it was Gonif, but it was a long time ago. That's why I say at least: Running the script through once takes roughly 3 minutes. Perhaps someone can find the post?
