Awesome, thanks for that.
Wonder if zombies like their brain cooked.

It warms my heart to know that people have now been cooked alive in the desert and digested by undead yeehar. It really is the sort of thing that recharges my GM batteries. There's one more interesting way for you all to die in the desert, though. I don't think anyone has found it yet, or if they have they haven't posted about it.
In regards to the departing to Haven thing, that's by bad. I was sure I'd done my due dilligence on that, but I guess I missed it. The issue has been fixed, and you will now depart to Muspar'i. As a side-effect, you will now also depart to Muspar'i if you die on the barge, either of the barge platforms, or the oasis.

I really couldn't say what other guilds, if any, might be in Velaka's future. None are currently in the works, but that could change. A Barbarian guild wouldn't be unrealistic, as one of Heru Taipa's hamlets is quite barbaric in nature. I could also see an Empath guild opening/being built in theory, given the high concentration of alchemists and herbalists. Those would probably be the only two candidates though.

i can think very realistically of the lore that would inspire another. Not within the walls. But with all the construct activity, the prediliction for going all dragon-priesty - the source - it could be somewhere in the deep desert... a low point <i.e.for real life comparisions -- death valley, or the dead sea home of sodom & g'morroh> - a place wherein it is warned that evil resides... that none but those who have abandoned the 13 may venture...
<IN OTHER WORDS, theres LOTS of stuff that says "put the P2 necro guildhall somewhere close!. Love, the friendly corpse-risers...>
You've seen life through distorted eyes; You know you had to learn; The execution of your mind; You really had to turn;,the book is read,The end begins to show,The truth is out, the lies are old, But you don't want to know - Black Sabbath

I'm not even going to speculate on the location of a P2 Necromancer guild. On the subject of Dragon Priests though, I'm curious what lore you're referring to that in any way links them to Necromancy. Having studied DP lore avidly as a player and written a good deal of it as a GameMaster, I'm aware of many connections between both the Dzree and Sh'kial sects to sorcery, but not to Necromany, and most certainly not to the Philosophers.

FWIW Armifer has sometimes used the Dragon Priests as an example of a Perverse Necromancer sect, along with the Bone Elves and the Xala'shar. There are also the stories of them creating the Adan'f from the shalswar and mentions in books like The Undying Thread as well as Xerasyth (even though he was an Adan'f and later defected from the DP) and Serzyn being actual guilded Necromancers once that was possible after the guild was released.

I think I found it, though I was quick enough not to get killed by it. I'll just say it might be dangerous to travel near the oasis right before the sand barge comes in for docking. I need to bring one of my little folks over that way sometime and see what happens if you don't evade.

Your spirit is weakened beyond its ability to sustain your body!
A panicked scream pierces the air. "Murderer!" You notice the nearby citizenry looking your way for the moment, before most quickly run off in fear.

A billowing cloud of dust on the horizon indicates the approach of a pack of charging yeehars, pulling a sturdy sand barge.
>
The thunderous din of stampeding feet fills the sandy trench as a a pack of charging yeehars barrel through!
You quickly attempt to scramble out of the way, finding it difficult to escape through the shifting sand.
A great shadow spreads out around you as the first mighty yeehar passes above. One of its large forelegs slams into the sand inches away, giving you the fleeting hope that you may yet be spared a painful and gruesome death. As the next foot lands -- crushing one of your legs -- the thought of escape is immediately replaced with searing agony, which blurs into a dizzying array of meaningless color and sound. You're only remotely aware as the other yeehars take turns stampeding over you, the pain receptors in your body deadened within the first few moments.
* xxxxx was just struck down!
Your death cry echoes ... blah blah blah
Your body will decay beyond its ability to hold your soul in 114 minutes.
Adding insult to injury, the underside of the sand barge thumps you on the head as it passes.
