Are there any free water sources in Haven or even Lang/Theren?

If by 'sexy credit to' you mean 'ask permission from.'

You seem to be laboring under the delusion that it would matter if they didn't give permission, or even if permission wasn't asked.

Well it's moot in this case, of course, but it's good to practice ethical and legal hygiene as a matter of habit. Especially considering the scarily incorrect advice on the subject smattered around Elanthipedia.

Just thought I'd chime in on this...

Personally, I've always thought information we get from the game is open source...belongs to Simu, players just collect and sort it in their own kooky ways. I know that when I find sympathetic information that works with my stuff, I always try to give credit where credit is due though. For instance, the flower list...thanks to Sorenne's list, which I started off of...but then she gave credit to Tsarenzi for the list she started off of. So, both get a nod on the top of my page for getting it going, although clearly I've added things over the years that weren't even in the game when those first lists were going.

Anyhow, on the actual water listing, another to add is in the Mayor's Mansion, mistwood door in the washbasin. However, it was buggy this afternoon when I was checking it out, so might want to stick with the others. I'll get that location and a few more Therengia water sources added to the linked page in the next few days, been starting the re-mana map project with the major cities and came across some more.

While legally speaking yes, anything you write about the game belongs to Simutronics (and therefore falls under their licenses when it comes to reproducing it), it's still polite to ask someone if you can "use" their stuff like that, where "stuff" can equal anything from data they've compiled to their own character. Not everyone feels compelled to ask permission for that sort of thing, though, which I kind of find disrespectful but there's not a whole lot you can do at that point.
