I tried this a few times and it works... it seems like I can bypass the RT and any skill check if I hold something in my hand when climbing the ladder that gets into the biesswurm area where the frozen dragon thing is.
actually you can only do that to go into the area. when you go to climb the rope to get out, you can't be holding anything in your hand. i believe thats an intended feature of the area.
