I don't remember that fall being fatal, but it seems like it blew up all my organs. Anyone with a bit of climbing around to drag me out?

Is there a way to avoid it? Stat-based, hop while spinning in a circle, etc? Or is it simply luck?

I logged out due to the fact I was down about 1/3 spirit health an didn't want to auto depart. I can log back in.

I should also mention I'm not where I fell. There was someone who came and tried to help last night, but didn't have the climbing ability to drag me out. I'm near the stairs, just southwest of the vines.
