Still hoping to buy my boat. Is there any updated news on IF or
when the shipyard will be reopening? I think the last request
for information on this was a few months ago.

At Simucon they said it will be reopened. when is another question altogether. At the very least, the "Thing and Other Thing" need to be finished first.

I'm nearly positive Solomon said until you see boats auctioned off for non-payment then no new boats will be added. They are too resource intensive and I don't believe any GM "owns" them as far as working on them. They just fix things when they break.

No GM is currently working on boats, but that is due to change.
I am, by default, the GM "in charge" of boats (meaning they fall in my area of responsibility), and will be looking at making some modifications eventually.
