I have one container that I use as a 'suitcase' to hold my character's little wardrobe of clothes. I was wondering if clothes could be adjusted so I could put more in there? I have a blouse that apparently takes up enough space for six clothing articles? I understand the gowns taking up that much space, but a blouse? I'm wondering what the issue is with that, and anytime I want to take anything out or put anything in there, the blouse needs to be pulled out first and then I stuff everything back in with the blouse being last.

I have the same issue with a gown from Muspar'i, and a cloak I had made from skinned furs.

It's not like I have HUGE amounts of clothes either, just a few days of clothing changes and a few gowns for special events and weddings. I actually have a lot more jewelry than I have clothing, and I keep them all organized in a little jewelry box.
Most of my favorite clothings were dropped by random creatures, I just love the white cashmere bodice I found on a scout ogre.

By the way, there's nothing in the pouch, it's just I have 3 purses and sometimes I like to change which one my character is displaying.

In the red leather case you see a pale pink gossamer blouse, a clinging silk skirt, a clinging silk bodice, a softly-draped violet silk tunic, a small black velvet pouch, a white cashmere bodice, a pale blue satin rosette, an iridescent velvet gown, a radiant red wrap, a black leather bullwhip, a white hip scarf, a seafoam silk gown, a seafoam gauze skirt, a black skirt, a pair of silk gloves and a dark leather bodice.

This doesn't sound like it needs new mechanics, it sounds like your hoard needs culling.

Perhaps you should endeavor to get rid of the things you don't need?
