So I've made sure the atmosphere for the thing is on, and I've worn it and made sure to fatigue myself. I'm not seeing anything going on, is there a reason?

Thanks,

Because it raises vitality.

Do different vitality healers stack? Like the wooden medallion and the serpent earcuff?

How many of those can you use at once? If you have both earcuffs and medallions. I assume you can only wear 2 earcuffs.

Technically infinity bone buttons since they're generally worn but only one exists so technically zero bone buttons?

Ew, now I'm going to be stuck in the mindset of 'if I'm not wearing five of these things then I'm not getting the maximum vitality healing' but I absolutely abhor the idea of having two earcuffs and three medallions cluttering up my description.

I'd've assumed that only one of each type worked, or only one worked. Now it's a whole dilemma!

First world problems...

It's such a minor amount of vitality they're honestly kind of overhyped.

They are alterable though for what it's worth.

The necklaces you can hide with a fluff hider. The earcuffs can be hidden by a few different items, many of the uaro's'sugi that conceal facial features do this when raised.

Not in front of DR to confirm this, but IIRC they give like 1% vit per pulse every 60 seconds.

IMO, they're good at keeping your vit topped in situations where you get a the occasional light/good hit, but they're not strong enough to save you from "real" danger, even if you had 5 going at once.

Two earrings and a necklace are what, 3% vitality, every 20-60 seconds. They're a great way to keep yourself topped off so that you never get more than a few scratches here or there.

It's not a percentage. It's a set amount. (Sauce: https://elanthipedia.play.net/mediawiki/index.php/Post:Earcuffs_-_12/22/2012_-_22:54)

It's still nice for keeping yourself topped up but it's not exactly a gamechanger, particularly as you progress and get more stamina.

Good job sourcing that, and thanks for the info. It is game changing at low-levels, but I don't think it's so game breaking any more.

IMO it's great for at/under-level PvE but I wouldn't rely on it for PvP or harder critters

If it matters I have one earcuff and one medallion.

Being that I wear two earcuffs, 3 medallions, and the bone button... I'll weigh in and say that even with good stamina, it's nice. It's expensive, but anything to help keep yourself above the hard damage threshold is nice.

And I DO hate that they are so hard to hide. Especially since my altered hider from the Witch is supposed to hide every option...but meh.
