Thick leather straps toughened with dark silver steelsilk connect to the container via heavy iron rivets. Soiled from past encounters with gore, dirt and other unclean things, the pack's surface is mottled with a variety of dingy colors. A small navy blue goshawk embroidered on the flap has avoided the mess somehow to serve as the main intentional adornment.

Dark silver steelsilk lines the interior in addition to reinforcing the corded laces. Protruding from the leather like clenched fists, dozens of iron grommets trail along the boots from ankle to opening. A goshawk with outstretched wings is stamped into each metal toecap in order to deliver a proverbial kick from Botolf himself.
