Maybe you have already addressed this issue but are there going to be forges out of town where rangers can smelt their ore without killing their bonus?
I have no desire to go into weaponsmithing or armorsmithing but I would like to be able to make ingots from the ore I mine.
Again, sorry if this has been addressed, I have not seen it.

Yes, after replacing all the existing forges, and adding new engineering halls to each province, I hope to get some wilderness crafting areas out. They won't be as well stocked, for obvious reasons. But you'll be able to avoid the cities if you so choose.
