The Compel spell could probably use some slight revision to its messaging now that it's no longer signature (and, thus, doesn't involve the use of Empathy). It still talks about "bringing your empathy to bear" against undead targets.

You gesture at a Misenseor resuscitant.
You contribute your harnessed streams to increase the pattern's potential.
You focus your magical senses upon a Misenseor resuscitant's life essence, attempting to subtly compel it to go elsewhere.
You extend your will, attempting to bring your empathy to bear upon a Misenseor resuscitant. It shrugs off your efforts, the spell pattern unravelling harmlessly.
Roundtime: 2 sec.
Also, it talks about focusing on the target's life essence. This is problematic when casting on Constructs, which are now valid targets but still don't possess a life essence on which to focus one's magical senses. And a non-Empath casting the spell can't really even focus on the life essence of something that does possess one, so that would be odd too.
You gesture at a rock guardian.
You focus your magical senses upon a rock guardian's life essence, attempting to subtly compel it to go elsewhere.
A rock guardian loses all track of harmful intention toward you and disengages.
A rock guardian flees south.
Roundtime: 2 sec.
