A number of times thoughts about whether berserk should or should not be automatic under certain circumstances seem to cross the boards. It seems to make sense to me that under some conditions wounds should trigger a berserk, but I also understand those that do not want to auto-berserk for rp and some other reasons.

I thought a meditation to set the level at which you would automatically berserk could be very useful. Default would be as it currently is, no auto berserk. A barbarian, however, could meditate and set the general level at which he would automatically berserk. Perhaps levels such as: being aimed at; being advanced on; taking a light bleeder; taking a heavy bleeder; light stun; moderate stun; severe stun; or being ambushed or backstabbed. Maybe even could set a couple of circumstances which would trigger the fury.

Since this would require the barbarian to be more in touch with his fury and closer to it, the focus required to dance would be more difficult, and dances would suffer to an extent corresponding to the ease of triggering the fury. I don't think the meditation would permanently set the triggers, but could be in effect for quite a long time, before needing to meditate again.
